The RSV4 RF is said to be the most advanced machine that Aprilia has ever made. Combining both engineering and design elements, Aprilia has made this to the most compact full size sports bike in the market. This limited edition variant is the much refined and track oriented version of the RSV4 RR. One of the peculiar feature of this bike is its impeccable aluminium double rail frame which makes it one of the unique sportsbike of the century.

This is the World's first full scale production motorcycle with a high performance narrow V4 engine, which is the most powerful engine Aprilia has ever built. This 999.6 cc mill churns out a maximum power of 201 bhp @ 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 115 Nm @ 10,500 rpm. Engine is mated to 6-speed cassette type gearbox for optimum power transmission. Suspension system of the bike consists of Ohlins fork with TIN surface treatment. An adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression and rebound damping is used at the front and Ohlins Racing monoshock, fully adjustable, spring preload, wheelbase and hydraulic compression and rebound damping at the rear completes the suspension system of the vehicle. A 320mm dual stainless steel disc with Brembo M430 monobloc radial calipers are used at the front and a 220mm rear disc with two piston Brembo calipers are used at the rear.

This Aprilia is indulged with some finest of the technologies. It features the race-developed APRC system (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). This system enables the full ride-by-wire, multi-map, electronic engine management with options like Sport, Track and Race. Other features like ATC (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), ALC (Aprilia Launch Control), AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift) and Race spec ABS.
