Dorsoduro 900 is a fun bike from the Italian premium bike builder Aprilia. It combines the characteristics of a sport bikes and supermotards. This is one of the special bikes of Aprilia with well-engineered chassis combined with the high-performance powerplant. The Dorsoduro models are produced with the collaboration of Aprilia Racing Team.
At the heart 90-degree, V-Twin, 896cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine generates a maximum power of 95.2 bhp @ 8750 rpm and peak torque of 90 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The bike is equipped with the advanced engine management system, which consists of injection with 3 map ride-by-wire comprising Sport, Touring and Rain modes, the 2-in-1 stainless steel exhaust system consists of 3-way catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, two channel ABS system and wheels of Aluminium alloy. As it is a supermotard bike, it does have some off-roading DNA in it. Therefore, it is equipped with 41 mm USD front fork and aluminium alloy swingarm with hydraulic shock absorber. However, the Trellis Framework of the Dorsoduro is combined with lateral aluminium plates with high resistance bolts.

To make the Dorsoduro 900 performance killer on roads and hile o touring, Aprilia has stripped out anything that is not essential and only retained parts that give out maximum riding pleasure. Aprilia has given fly mudguards at the front and a carefully places the double exhaust close to the tail light, giving it a unique look to this unique motorcycle.
The mill of the Dorsoduro 900 comes with an Aprilia V90 Longitudinal 90° V-twin 4-stroke, liquid cooled 896.1 cc engine with technologies like ride-by-wire and traction control. The engine produces a maximum power of 95.2 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a 90.0 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Aprilia has made sure that the revamped engine excels in road conditions with maximum fun and powerfulness.
The Dorsoduro 900 uses a Modular tubular steel frame fastened to aluminium side plates by high strength bolts. Dismountable rear frame. It makes use of an Upside-down fork with Adjustable hydraulic rebound damping and spring preload for its front suspension and a Aluminium alloy swingarm Hydraulic shock absorber with adjustable extension and spring preload for its rear suspension.The front braking system of the bike comes with Front: Dual ∅ 320 mm stainless steel floating discs. Radial, four-piston callipers along with Metal braided brake hose and the rear suspension comes with 240 mm stainless steel disc. Single piston calliper. Metal braided brake hose with a Continental two-channel ABS system. Aprilia has given radial tubeless tyres at the front and rear to make this Motorrad stable on all terrains.
