The belly of the VMAX is a ferocious 1,679cc Liquid cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 200.1PS @ 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 166.8Nm @ 6,500 rpm. the engine is coupled to a Constant mesh, 5-speed transmission while the final transmission is done with Shaft drive. The VMAX has a very rigid and strong aluminium diamond-shaped chassis structure for stability and control. The suspension duties of the VMAX are done with Cartridge-damper-type front forks having a substantial 52mm inner tubes with oxidized titanium coating. The rear suspension duties are done with a Swingarm. The braking of the VMAX is done with
a Dual Hydraulic disc Ø 320 mm while the rear brakes are of Single Hydraulic disc brake Ø 298 mm. The VMAX has a good ground clearance of 140 mm. While the overall weight of the bike is on the heavier side with 310 kg.
