I thought that the new CBR 300 would have 300cc displacement,,I was wrong. I am sure Honda stroked the engine as much as they could as cheaply as they could. Being that it weighs less than the 250R,,(much less than the Ninja) it should be a winner.

Looks good, but 286cc, is honda giving 36cc for free? Not even a high reving unit, still the old single. The name should be changed to VFR, bcoz it is not doing justice to the CBR's legendary performance. It is really shame that, motorcycle gaint Honda has not even now, realized the entry level bike potential, only the top dogs gets updated technology, and the lower ones still uses the cheapest, near obsolete bits. Hope they realizes all this, and give some serious performance on these sweet entry level bikes. Honda has always made great motors, they should maintain their status even on these entry level performance bikes.

The design is more sporty and better than CBR250 although they only change the head fairing. But the worst is its a single cylinder with only 286cc. Not worth to even compare with ninja
