CNBC-TV18 in association with Overdrive and ICICI Bank Car Loans have announced the most comprehensive awards in the automotive sector on Tuesday, January 04, 2011.
The 11th edition of the CNBC-TV18 Overdrive Awards 2011 had honored all of the India's automobile champions.
The Toyota Etios and the Hero Honda Twister have been announced as the Car and Bike of the Year at the awards ceremony.
The awards aimed at making green technology available for the Indian auto industry in the days to come to reduce the carbon emissions of the cars and bikes and look at conserving the environment.
No wonder the automobile manufacturers are under pressure to make vehicles that comply with reducing the carbon footprint.
The CNBC-TV18 Overdrive Awards 2011 had emphasized the need for the green technology.
