Mahindra Mojo Debut Soon

Upcoming 300cc Motorcycle from Mahindra to be Launched Soon

The upcoming motorcycle from Mahindra, an all new flagship from the company under the 300cc two wheeler motorcycle segment, will mark its debut soon in the Indian bike market. Falling under the category of much awaited motorbikes in the country, the Mahindra Mojo is one motorcycle that created a build-up right from the day it was announced. Standing out from among its rivals, the design, styling and technical specification of the motorcycle are its key features. Rolling out as a performance bike from the mega industry well known for its SUV and other high performance vehicles, the Mojo is one promising rider oriented performance motorcycle. Being showcased from the last five years, speculations about the launch of this vehicle had been in a bit slow pace. Mahindra plans to launch a new product every six months and this could be possibly the ramp for the Mojo to roll out soon to the country.

Design and styling of the motorcycle is a unique element which keep itself at the peak from among other rivals. Competing against the 300cc motorcycles in its segment, the uniquely designed side rails, with an edgy side panel adds on to the stunning look of the motorcycle. Style has also got its hands in redesigning the all new front and rear cowl. Right from the head till the rear tail section of the bike is a unique combination of design and aesthetic elements. A unique twin round head light is one such feature that makes the motorcycle look appealing from that of the other bikes in its class. The Mojo equips a 4-stroke 295cc DOHC SI engine which is capable of letting out a maximum power of 27 Bhp at the rate of 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 25 Nm at the rate of 6500 rpm.

Co-operated within the engine of the motorcycle is a 6-speed manual transmission system which helps the rider to shift through the gears in a much easier and rider friendly gear shifting pattern. Since the motorcycle is a performance vehicle, it shifts quickly to rave high speed and performance. The front and rear damping of the motorcycle while high performance is reduced with the installation of the all new suspension system. An inverted front fork telescopic hydraulic damped and a 120mm stroke horizontally mounted mono shock rear suspension system of the motorcycle helps it to reduce damping and increase stability and balance of the motorcycle during high performance. Damping is effectively reduced by the suspension system alone but the company has managed to deliver more precautions by adding a front and rear 320mm/240mm petal disc brakes respectively.

Expecting the launch of the Mahindra Mojo to be in the mid of March 2015 the company has not given any official launch announcement yet. Competing itself from among the tough boys in its segment, the KTM Duke 200, Kawasaki Ninja 300R and the Honda CBR250R, the Mahindra Mojo is all set to roll out.
