BMW S1000R Unveiled at EICMA

The new king in the Dynamic Roadster class.

Finally the whistle got blown for the much awaited semi-faired version of the S 1000 RR, the S 1000 R. The S1000R was officially unveiled at the EICMA event in Milan.

The S1000R shares a lot with its sibling, the S 1000 RR, both in appearance and in technical specifications. The S1000R is equipped with the same 999cc, Water/oil-cooled 4-cylinder 4-stroke in-line engine, four titanium valves per cylinder engine, that powers the S 1000 RR. However, BMW has slightly tuned down the power and the torque of the bi-wheeler.
