Indian Chieftain

The Indian Chieftain as the name goes is really a leader in luxury motorcycles. The Chieftain is a very comfortable 817-pound tourer that showcases out of the world riding experience. This motorcycle is best enjoyed on deserted highways even though it could handle anything at any time. The Chieftain has a very big body and looks like a chariot. The Chieftain is a very expensive bike, the making, built quality and the comfort it provides is on point with the elite cruiser motorcycles.

The Chieftain comes with a big 1811 cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine that has the capacity to produce a maximum peak torque of 161.6 Nm @ 3000 rpm. The engine uses Closed loop fuel injection and Gear Drive Wet Clutch as its primary drive.

The Chieftain has a Telescopic Fork that has a 119 mm travel at the front while the rear suspension comes with a Single Shock w/ Air adjust that has a travel of 114mm. The suspension setup works perfectly on par with this cruiser to make highways and streets a very pleasurable experience. The braking system of the Chieftain is done with Dual / 300mm Floating Rotor with 4 Piston Caliper at the front while the rear braking system comes with Single / 300mm Floating Rotor with only 2 Piston Caliper. Indian has given Dunlop American Elite tyres with 130/60B19 61H measurement is given at the front while the Dunlop Elite 3 Multi-Compound with 180/60R16 80H measurement is given on the back. The exhaust system is a Split Dual Exhaust w/ Cross-over. The Indian Chieftain has a ground clearance of 142 mm and has an overall height of 1388 mm. The motorcycle has an overall dry weight of 356 kg.
