Hero Honda Splendor, the bike that revolved the whole Indian two wheeler industry. Debuting in 1994, the bike scribed history in many terms in the chapters of Indian Industry. The Splendor was an upgraded CD 100 in to the next level of motorcycling. The first generation Splendor machine was coupled with a 97.2cc, 4-Stroke, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled OHC engine, which was used in the CD 100 model. The bike produced max power of 7.4 bhp @ 8000 rpm and max torque of 7.95 Nm @ 5000 rpm. The engine of the two-wheeler was coupled with a 4 speed constant mesh.
