Complete details of Pulsar 200 DTSi Motorcycle

Launched in India in February 2007. Pulsar 200 DTSi is not in production now.

The Pulsar 200 was one of the best sports motorcycles when the time Bajaj Auto launched the machine in 2007. However, the bike's production was unfortunately stopped in 2009 due to the presence and increasing demand of the Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar 220. The Pulsar 200 is powered by a 200cc, 4-Stroke SingleCylinder AirCooled engine. It is capable to produce maximum power of 18 bhp @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 17.17 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It is mated with a 5 speed gear box and has a top speed of 142 kmph. The discontinuation of the Pulsar 200 is a big loss for the whole Indian motorcycle industry.

I had purchased this Bajaj Pulsar 200DTSI in 2008 when it is produced. From that day my son was use to ride this bike. That time I was in a gulf .when i realized that this bike is having only 12volts battery starting futures and not a kick starter at all.and now days I am always getting problems to start the bike on the weak battery..my son has been replaced the batteries four times .It means rubbished designed without kickstarter in 2008...

I have bought it second hand on 28 06 2021, I came here the check the specs bhp and milage am amazed by the reviews so I thought of sharing mine, after running for almost 12 years the previous owner let it on mud and used its parts to repair another one he had. I bought it from him. all the electric parts were wasted. I changed the ecu, cdi, mother wiring, battries, relay, seat covers and the front shock rod and spring (one side) now the bike runs like a true beast. I have beaten every bike on the signal, the meter is still not working so I will change it next month, I will share the milage and the top speed after that, however as of now I have beated bs4 220, rtr, bullet 350 with my pillion gf on street, and was on side by side with a himalayan in a signal form lake town to chingrighata i live in kolkata if any 200 owner wants to have a morning group ride call me on 8583862185, really falling in love with this bike, planning to modify it to its limits wants to see its potentials..

As everyone specifies,no dought it is a beast in all bajaj motors, i hav pulsar 200 dtsi 2009 model and it is as gud as new even after burning 57k kms..i use castrol engine oil wich gives more smoothness to its engine...i tried 220 and karizma 225 but no satisfaction wich my devil gives me...i also request bajaj to start over this bike with rear disc also soon.....ther are lakhs of fan for this bike out ther....

Powerful bike with acceptable mileage which none other brand of bikes give. I Totally agree this bike has stlye, looks, good grip on the roads and most important being 200cc category bike it still gives 38 to 40 on dhoom riding and 45-50 speed it gives 48 -50.
