Bajaj Platina 100

Powered by a 99.27cc, 4-stroke engine, the Platina 100 produces a maximum power output of 8.2 bhp at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 4500 rpm. It is air-cooled and comes with a kick start function. This motorcycle offers a smooth ride with enough power for city commuting and occasional highway cruising. However, with a top speed of 80 kmph, it may not be the ideal choice for those seeking high-speed thrill.

The Platina 100 features a constant mesh type transmission, with an all-down gear shift pattern. This makes it a reliable choice for city commuting where frequent gear changes are required. The gears shift smoothly, offering an enjoyable riding experience.

Fuel Efficiency
One of the standout features of the Platina 100 is its outstanding fuel efficiency. With an overall mileage of 75 km per litre, city mileage of 70 km per litre, and highway mileage of 85 km per litre, it is one of the most fuel-efficient motorcycles in its class. It also boasts a decent fuel tank capacity of 13 litres, which means less frequent stops for fuel refills on long rides.

Brakes and Suspension
The Platina 100 comes equipped with drum brakes on both the front and rear, which may not provide the same level of stopping power as disc brakes, but are adequate for the power level of this bike. The hydraulic, telescopic suspension, with 125mm travel at both front and rear, ensures a comfortable ride even on rough roads.

The bike weighs in at 113 kg, making it fairly light and easy to handle, particularly for new riders.

Aesthetics and Colours
The Platina 100's aesthetics maintain a simple, classic look with a touch of modern design elements. Available in Black, Black Maroon, and Red, the colour options offer something for everyone, each imparting a distinctive character to the motorcycle.
