Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro Launch Next Month

Launched in Europe earlier this year. India booking started

After the launch of much-anticipated Monster 797 and Multistrada 950, the Italian bike firm Ducati is setting up the stage for their next big launch. This time it is their latest Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro to take their covers off in India. The new adventure bike was launched earlier this year in the global market to compete with the BMW R1200GS Rallye.

The 2017 Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro comes in new Sand coloured paint scheme. Apart from the skin, the seats are adorned with two-tone colour, the subframe, clutch covers and alternators are painted in black as well. Other changes include a shorter windscreen and Touratech crash protection bars along the bike.

Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro

Mechanically, nothing has been changed from the older 1200 Enduro. The same 1198cc, Testastretta, L-Twin, twin-spark, Desmodromic, water-cooled engine pumps out the same 152 bhp of maximum power and top torque of 128 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection system monitors and delivers the right amount of air-fuel mixture to the combustion chamber. It is also equipped with Ducati Traction Control, wheelie control, ride-by-wire and hill-hold control. Besides that, it has also retained the 30-litre fuel tank, semi-active suspension and tubular steel Trellis frame. The 1200 Enduro Pro comes with the titanium Termignoni exhaust system for producing the iconic Ducati soundtrack. One can easily ride this motorcycle hardly to any terrain as it is equipped with 19 and 17-inch Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres at front and back respectively.

Enduro Pro Ducati

The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro is one among the many bikes to be launched in India by Ducati India for the year 2017. The booking of this adventure beauty has already begun in showrooms across the country. However, Ducati is yet to announce the official pricing of the bike in accordance with the post-GST tax variations in the country. This adventure bike is expected to be rolled out in July 2017 to give a tight competition for the Bavarian bike makers.
