Yamaha has just unveiled the latest 'Star Venture' for the US market. By introducing this full sized cruiser motorcycle, they have taken the competition to a whole new level. Star Venture is the first motorcycle to feature in the newly created 'TransContinental Touring' segment of the Yamaha. This new offering horns with the highly rated BMW K1600 GTL, Honda Gold Wing and Harley Davidson Road Glide models.
From the front, the tall windscreen and the gigantic headlamp casing steals the first stance. The headlamp is full LED, while windscreen can be electronically adjusted according to the riding environment. The Star Venture features a 7-inch LCD infotainment system, which can be controlled by touch, handlebar controls and even by the rider's voice. Moreover, it gets smartphone compatibility, USB charging, tyre pressure monitor, keyless ignition, GPS navigation and tyre pressure indicator.
Yamaha also provides an optional TransContinental package, which consists a slew of features like LED fog lamp, GPS, Dual Zone audio control, an extra pair of speakers and alarm. The base variant of Yamaha Star Venture is priced at $24,999 and TransContinental package comes at $26,999 in the USA. This motorcycle is limited to US market and it is unlikely to enter the European and Indian market as it fails to meet the Euro-IV and BS-IV emission norms.
