It starts with the normal routine, automobile spy peeps caught a TVS motorbike doing test runs and shot a few snaps of the bike and got it on the web, then it started getting viral. Even if it weren't for those photographs, there were motorbiking enthusiasts talking widely on TVS and if they had any new bikes coming up. So as for now there is an Apache 200 series to launched late this year. TVS Motors currently manufactures a wide range of two-wheelers, from mopeds to racing inspired motorcycles they have proven their worth to be on the street. As TVS Motor's strength lies in the design and development of its new products, the new model of the Apache series should be something interesting. Its been a surprising year for most petroheads as there were many motorcycles being launched in to the market, a few international brands launching their showrooms and now a native brand with a soon to be revealed bike under the Apache 200 series things are getting quite interesting.
The bike still is unborn, so specifications will have to be to be referred with the previous model. The power would be definitely more and rumored design changes might be LED lighting, probably a strip on the headlight and on the taillight. A Combi braking system, ABS might be optional, which results in the prices to take a step ahead than the fixed price for the bike. The new motor should be featuring a fuel injection and a liquid cooling system. There is a probability of the bike having a mobile charging point. Expecting a power delivery of 20hp and a reasonable 17Nm of torque. With just hopes and guesses, the company hasn't made any specification official, all that the officials stated during a media interaction, was that there is a new line-up and its underdevelopment and will be unveiled soon.
Prices are the same, it hasn't been out. Speculations are that the bike would cost higher than the current model, but at what range will it cost is hard to answer at this point. As the ABS is coming along with this bike expecting the bike to be priced below the ₹1Lakh. Overall, the test mule of the bike had everything covered, so exterior features couldn't be glimpsed, by eagerly overlooking enthusiasts.
Work in progress, progressing and will soon be completely progressed.
