DSK to Launch Hyosung Aquila 250 and GD250N in India

Will be unveiled at the Motor Show 2014 in Noida.

DSK Motowheels, the authorized dealer of Hyosung motorcycles in India, is all set to launch Hyosung Aquila 250 and GD250N in the country. According to leaks, the bikes are expected to be officially unveiled at the Motor Show 2014, in Greater Noida, Delhi.



The Aquila 250 was once launched in India back to 2003. A total of 200 units were shipped to Kinetic outlets across the country. However, poor after sales affected the stability of the sales the Aquila 250. Since joining with DSK, Hyosung has been witnessing a steady growth in the country. So hopes are high for both Hyosung and DSK as the Aquila 250 is relaunched to India. The entry level cruiser is powered by a 249cc, Air / Oil cooled DOHC 8-valve 75° V-twin engine. It generates a peak power of 24.51 hp @ 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 20 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. It's coupled with a 5-speed transmission.

On the other hand, the GD250N is powered by a 249cc, Air / Oil cooled DOHC 8-valve 75° V-twin engine which delivers a tremendous power of 28 bhp at 9500 rpm and a stunning torque of 24 Nm at 7000 rpm. The naked machine is mated with a 6 speed gear transmission.

The Aquila 250 and GD250N are expected to be priced around Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 1.7 lakh respectively.
