Mahindra Two Wheelers, the manufacturer of the bike however managed to postponed the launch of the bike. The latest news revolving around the Mojo is that the bike will be equipped with a single circular headlight. Since its concept got revealed, Mahindra had been teasing the bike with dual-circular headlamp and when now getting spied with a single-circular doom, it's really a minor shock for its well wishers. However, it is still unclear whether the single-circular headlamp is sportier or not, because the spied pics show a half-covered Mojo.

Earlier, the firm had given some clues that the bike might go for few alterations rather than getting launched with the same concept shown. There had been some speculations regarding the launch of the Mojo telling whether the bike would be launched or not. This attempt of Mahindra kills all possibilities of cancelling the Mojo from the production house of Mahindra.

Mahindra Mojo

According to the latest reports the Mojo will be headed to the Indian motorcycle industry by the end of 2013. When the machine gets arrived, it will have to face a real hard time as it has got Honda CBR400R, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Bajaj Pulsar 375, and KTM Duke 390 as rivals. Because, all these machines are likely to be launched by the time the Mojo gets placed.

Mahindra Mojo will be coupled with a 292cc, Single Cylinder, Liquid Cooled, 4 Valves Direct Drive, SI engine. The bike will produce maximum power of 26 bhp @ 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 24 Nm @ 7000 rpm. Its engine would be coupled with a 6 speed gear transmission. It will have petal disc brakes at both ends.

An inverted fork Telescopic hydraulic-damped suspension and Horizontally mounted Mono Shock suspension at front and rear respectively ensures a comfortable ride to the bike. Having a 15.5 litres fuel tank, the bike would be more than funnier for long drives. The machine weighs only 160 kg. Since Mahindra hasn't been given a good name in motorcycling, there would probably be some starting trouble for the consortium.
