The new strategy transparently tells that Bajaj will be introducing the first Discover out of 6 Discovers either by the end of June or by the beginning of July. Followed by the first two-wheeler new machines will be revealed in every 6-8 weeks.

Due to the introduction of many bikes by Honda, Bajaj was pulled back to the third spot in the Indian two wheeler market. So the new bi-wheelers under the Discover brand will give back the lost position of the company, hopes the firm.
Mr. Bajaj also said that four bikes out of six will be priced between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 50,000, and the left machine will be tagged Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000. It is certain that the Discover machines will occupy in the commuter class. These bikes will also be exported to overseas where the manufacturer finds one third of its net income.
Currently, Bajaj has 5 bikes under the Discover Portfolio: the Discover 100, Discover 125, Discover 150, Discover 100T, and the Discover 125ST.
The Discover 100 is the cheapest among the Discover machines. It comes with a 94.38cc, Single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled engine. It is powered by 7.7 Hp @ 7500 Rpm, and 7.85 Nm @ 5000 Rpm. It has a 5 speed transmission. While, the most expensive motorcycle in the Discover series, the Discover 150, is coupled with a 144.8cc, DTS-i, 4-stroke, Natural air cooled engine. It delivers max power of 13.0 PS @ 7500 rpm and max torque of 12.75 Nm @ 5500 rpm. It is also mated with a 5 speed gearbox.
At present, Bajaj really lacks a 150cc Discover motorcycle in the new shape such as the Discover 125ST and the Discover 100T is designed. So the sixth Discover would probably be the Discover 150ST, and the rest 5 might be the updated versions of the current machines.
