Hyosung to Launch GV 650R Cruiser on 16th January

Hyosung GV650 is the most powerful 650cc cruiser.

The South Korean premium motorcycle manufacturer, Hyosung is all set to land their next cruiser to the Indian shore this month. According to the sources, Hyosung's cruiser, the GV650 is expected to be launched on 16th January. The GV650 will be the fifth Hyosung motorcycle and the second Hyosung cruiser motorcycle to be launched in India. Hyosung GT250R, GT650R, GT650N and the ST7 are the other available models in India.

The GV650 is an exceptional premium entry level cruiser. The motorcycle is moulded out in order to suit Indian roads as well. Its stylish design even attracts superbike die hard freaks. Being a cruiser, the machine is to capable to pump out through traffic messes just like a naked two wheeled machine. The bike has got the lightest kerb weight in this segment. It is proved that lighter the two wheeler is easier the two wheeler to be handled. The motorcycle weighs only a dry mass of 218 kg.



Hyosung GV650 comes with a 647 cc, Liquid cooled DOHC 8-valve 90° V-twin engine. This powerful engine is carried on by a maximum power of 70 Bhp @ 9000rpm. It is further pushed by a maximum torque of 60 NM. The is mated with a 5 speed gear transmission and it would be much handy for city slides. Thanks to the fuel injection system, it saves fuel and provides a better economy.

Long journeys are simpler and more luxurious than ever, because the GV650 has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres. Hyosung certifies an unstoppable journey of 290 km with a full tank GV650R, which means the machine has a mileage of 18 kmpl. Well, the top speed of the cruiser is 200 kmph. The GV650 is expected to be priced around Rs.4.5 lakh - Rs.5 lakh.
