Marari Ride: First ride to the best beach

Ever since I got my matt grey Honda Dio it has become impossible to sit at home doing nothing. For me it’s not just a medium of transportation it’s a symbol of my independence, freedom and passion. I am dependent on none nor do I have to listen to the lame excuses offered by others. Turn the keys, press the ignition and my Dio is all set for action. Since the day I received it I have taken it to every possible place.



On a fine bright Saturday I and my friends decided to go to Marari beach. It is located in Alleppey district in Kerala, 50kms away from my Kochi. I was too excited to go for the ride that i could barely sleep the night before. We started at 9:30 in the morning. All of us met at a specific place and then we started our journey. We took the main road while going to make sure that we reached as soon as possible. But while returning we chose to take the beach road which is more panoramic and pleasant.



The trip was packed with fun and joy. Marari beach is one of the finest beaches I have ever visited and is perfect for beach ball games. The day was well spend at the beach. Even though the waves washed away our footprints from the sand, nothing can ever wash the memories, away from our hearts, created by those waves. Standing on the shores of this beautiful beach you would never ask yourself, “Why did I ever come here?”. It’s an awesome feeling to look at the vastly outstretched bright blue beach and to take a deep breath thereafter.



We had our food from a nearby seafood restaurant. The food was delicious but a bit too expensive. After spending a few hours in the beach we started our return journey though our hearts resisted. The ride was smooth and fun. Dio was the perfect travel companion for my first best ride. Take care of it and it will never let you down.
