Harley Davidson Showroom in Kochi; A Dream Come True for Kochiites

As we reported earlier, the American super luxury cruiser motorcycle manufacturer, Harley Davidson is all done to inaugurate its new showroom at Maradu, in Kochi. It will be the 9th showroom of HD in India. The 18,000 sq. ft. station will commence it function by October. The showroom is exactly situated at the Aroor-Vytilla Bypass road.



The Kochi venture will be packed of vivid services from Harley. The outlet will be comprised of sales, service and spares. Within this single roof, HD tries to comfort HD fans by making available the services they seek for. Hence the outlet will be selling costly lifestyle merchandises such as HD branded apparels, eyewears, mugs, wallets and keychains as well.



"We will have an 18,000 sq. ft. showroom at Maradu on the Vyttila-Aroor bypass road. Unlike other Harley dealerships in the country, ours will have sales, service and spares under a single roof featuring a wide range of merchandise. Lifestyle merchandise like branded apparel, eyewear, key chains, mugs and wallets will available here. We will also have the Screamin' Eagle brand of original HD performance products in the showroom. We will have models priced up to Rs. 25 lakh in our Kochi showroom" said Mr. Mitesh K Patel, Director of KP Cars Pvt. Ltd., which owns the Audi Kochi dealership. The KP group has the dealership of HD in Kochi.



The hardcore fans of HD were in bit confusion whether the reports regarding HD outlet in Kochi were rumors or not. Harley Davidson India was founded in 2009 in Gurgaon. Earlier the premium bikes were imported directly from USA. But recently the HD India adopted the Complete Knocked Down (CKD) method by which the customer can escape from paying 120% duty tax. There are 15 HD superbikes available in India as CKD parts, ranging from Rs.5.6 lakh to Rs.34.5 lakh.
