Harley Davidson to open a new showroom in Kochi

The last name of premier cruiser bike, Harley Davidson, to open its new showroom in Kochi this August 2012. "We will have an 18,000 sq. ft. showroom at Maradu on the Vyttila-Aroor bypass road" commented Mitesh K Patel, Director of KP Cars Pvt. Ltd., which owns the Audi Kochi dealership. The company is planning to serve Harley's fans in all manner. That is apart from sale, the showroom will be providing services, apparels, and bike accessories.



"Unlike other Harley dealerships in the country, ours will have sales, service and spares under a single roof featuring a wide range of merchandise. Lifestyle merchandise like branded apparel, eyewear, key chains, mugs and wallets will available here. We will also have the Screamin' Eagle brand of original HD performance products in the showroom" Patel added.



The American bike manufacturer features 15 models in the country, with the price tag ranging from Rs. 5.6 lakh for the superlow models and Rs. 34.5 lakh for the Ultra Classic Electra Glides. "We will have models priced up to Rs. 25 lakh in our Kochi showroom" said Patel.



One of the best selling ultra luxurious bikes in th e world, HD has sold out more than 1000 units since its entrance in July 2010 in India. At present HD has 7 dealerships in India - Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai. "Our eighth showroom is coming up in Kolkata soon. Kochi will be our ninth" said Sanjay Tripathi, Director of Marketing with HD.



Harley is all set to showcase in Kochi to make the Queen of Arabian Sea more beautiful. And Harley's presence will surely add royalty to Kochi as a metropolitan city. Let's see who will be the first icon to buy the iconic cruiser HD from 'The God's own Country' this August.
