The Honda NXR based model was launched in 2012 and it wasn’t a crowd puller after their initial demands in the market. The Impulse was powered by 149.2cc engine, which delivers 13.2 Ps power and 13.4 Nm of torque. The Impulse bears many outfits like high-mount underseat exhaust, high ground clearance, motocross seat and Nitrox filled gas shocks to enhance its off-road qualities.

Due to the terms and agreements with the Honda motorcycles, the company doesn’t hold the rights to modify this bike to a more powerful motorcycle with much higher engine. It was one of the many reasons why Hero wasn’t doing any upgrades to this model for the past years. And now, before the BS-IV emission norms to become active, the company is ceasing the production of Impulse by removing the model from the company’s official website. And, this marks the end of Hero’s first performance bike.
Hero is yet to unveil many models in the Indian market which has been showcasing in Indian and other international motorcycle exhibitions.
