A New Version for Dhoni's Superbike Racing Team

Indian cricket team skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Superbike racing team changed its name to Mahi Racing Team India. Earlier it was known as MSD R-N Racing Team India.

"We thought MSD R-N was quite a big name. There were some other reasons also. So we thought let's keep it sweet and simple to Mahi Racing Team India." said MS Dhoni replying what was the reason behind the name change.

Opening a riding school definitely wasn't the agenda. But now we are in a position to do it," he commented.

It was in 2012 itself Dhoni's racing team stepped into 600cc FIM World Superbike Championship. At present his team is only competing in the Superbike category. And the team plans to move into the other Sport and Supersport classes.

"We will have to chalk out a plan because there are three categories, Sport Supersport and Superbike. We will see how it goes. Definitely it's and option for us," MSD conveyed his ambitions.

Meanwhile Mahi Racing Team India signed up with 2 new riders, world champion Kenan Sofouglu and former world champion Fabien Foret.
