A New Kind Of Two-Wheeler
Dubbed by Gogoro as its first "two-wheel SUV," the CrossOver is not just another electric scooter. It's designed to offer more utility and customization options to the rider. From front and rear luggage racks to four built-in cargo compartments, this scooter is ready for both urban commuting and light off-road expeditions.
Performance And Engineering
The CrossOver is equipped with a 7.6-kilowatt electric motor and utilizes Gogoro's unique Flo Drive belt drive system, known for its quiet operation and low maintenance. The scooter features a new all-terrain chassis, fortified for added strength, and offers 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) of ground clearance. Braking is managed by a synchronized system, and the scooter also features a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers. The 12-inch wheels are fitted with Maxxis dual-purpose tires, suitable for multiple terrains.
The scooter is also a tech-savvy machine, fully integrated into Gogoro's ecosystem of connectivity features. It comes with LTE smart remote services and is compatible with Gogoro's mobile app. For added safety, the CrossOver includes a Traction Control System (TCS) and offers an optional cruise control feature.
Availability And Future Plans
Initially, the CrossOver will be available in Taiwan in two different trims: the standard CrossOver and the upgraded CrossOver S. When asked about international availability, Gogoro responded positively, indicating plans to introduce the scooter in other markets in the future.
With the introduction of the CrossOver, Gogoro continues to push the boundaries of what electric scooters can offer. Its dual-purpose design and advanced features make it a compelling option for those looking to combine urban commuting with a bit of adventure. As Gogoro expands its market reach, the CrossOver is likely to attract attention from riders around the globe.
