Is this a scooter or a bike? Maybe both! It comes to our mind whenever we saw one Navi on the road. We should admit one fact that the introduction of Navi in the Indian market is said to be one of the boldest decision Honda has ever taken. It has gained mass attention from the media and people due to its out of the world design and styling. Navi was initially displayed at the Auto Expo 2016 and now in this new year 2017, Honda has just introduced two new variants of this hybrid bike, the Adventure and Chrome. Both the models are based on the black-colored Honda Navi, running on the same heart, but having their own unique features.
The Chrome edition includes a headlight cover, headlight protector, luggage box, lower side cover, under guard and rear grip. All these features are added to the Navi with an additional payment of Rs. 5065 INR. Meanwhile, Adventure edition is priced at Rs 8525 INR. It too packed with some features like, windshield visor, headlight protector, hand guards, under guard, new seat cover, rear grip, luggage box and new decals.
Mechanically, nothing has changed from the older Navi. It uses the same 109cc, HET engine, which can be found in Activa, Aviator and Dio. This mill churns out 8 bhp power and 8.96 Nm of peak torque. Suspension, braking and all other technical aspects are retained here. After all, both the models are customized versions of original Honda Navi. One loaded with accessories to make it an off-road (Adventure) and the other with premium and chrome touches (Chrome). Adventure is available from Rs. 44,713 (ex-showroom Delhi) and Chrome from Rs. 48,173 (ex-showroom Delhi).
