Aprilia Launched Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 in India

Aprilia India has expanded their product line with the launch of new Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 in India. These models will be sold through the Motoplex franchise in Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.



The two new models are available at an introductory pricing of Rs 11.99 for Shiver and Rs 12.50 for the Dorsoduro, until June 30th of 2017. The standard pricing will rise to Rs 13.32 lakh and Rs 13.83 lakh respectively(all pricing are based on ex-showroom Pune).



The Dorsoduro 900 is a high-performance adventure bike with beaky mudguard and long travel USD front forks. The bike features ride-by-wire system, three riding modes and three levels of traction control. Meanwhile, Shiver 900 is an entirely different story. It is a performance street bike with a sharp headlight and aggressive front fascia. It gets a rude styling from the sculpted fuel tank and red painted, exposed trellis frame at the sides.



Both the Aprilia's are powered by 896.10cc, 90-degree V-twin engine delivering a maximum power of 95.2 bhp and peak torque of 90Nm. By launching these two models in India, Aprilia targets the Ducati Monster 821 and Hypermotard 939.
