Honda Africa Twin Bookings Open

Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India has started the official booking of their much awaited model, CRF 1000L Africa TWin. This adventure-tourer is the first 1000cc motorcycle from Honda to make in India. Africa Twin is the flagship model in the adventure category, which is said to be one of the finest machines in this segment.



The model is priced at Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi), featuring Dual Clutch Transmission(DCT) system. The booking of this adventure tourer is limited for the 50 first customers. Bookings can be done through Honda's Exclusive sales & service Wing World outlets across the country. Their official website Honda2WheelersIndia.com also provides detailed information and further details regarding the booking. From the reports, the assembly of CRF 1000L has already started from the beginning of April 2017 and they will start the delivery of this bike from June 2017 itself.



Africa Twin is powered by 998cc, liquid-cooled, unicam, 8-valve, parallel twin engine capable enough to deliver a maximum power of 87 bhp and peak torque of 92 Nm. The bike gets sophisticated suspension system, enables the rider to take it any terrain or any roads. With the help of DCT, gear shifting is lot easier as it gives you the choice to get into manual or automatic gear shifting according to the road, track or even on a mountain pass. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and switchable rear ABS functionality as well.
