Austrian motorcycle conglomerate, KTM Sportmotorcycle AG unveiled its much anticipated bike, the Duke 390. The two wheeler is officially known as the 390 Duke. The launch took place at the 70th International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA), at Milan, Italy. The newly launched two wheeler will be ramped above the Duke 200.
Short Review of KTM Duke 390
By launching the Duke 390, KTM is leaving no room for its competitors for the consortium earlier didn't have a motorcycle in this segment. It is extremely a powerful bike. The design was purely inspired from KTM's own Duke 200.
Talking on its technical specification, the new engine which has been installed in the machine is a result of long analysis and research by the company. Thus no worry for performance and economy, assures the company.
The Duke 390 comes with a powerful 373.2 cc, Single-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition engine, liquid-cooled. The history of KTM says that it has a tradition of the most uncompromised performance. Equipped with 44 hp power, the bike showcases tons of entertaining rides. It has a 6-speed gearbox. Still it never irritates city driving as each and every stuffs are balanced.
Adjustments are thrown away. It is built on Tubular space frame made from chrome molybdenum steel, powder-coated and hence makes itself one of the most reliable motorcycle.
To enhance more freedom and security, disc brakes are added at both sides. The front portion is done with four-pot brake caliper disc brake, whereas one-pot brake caliper and floating brake discs are occupied at the rear wheel.
The machine is a pure off-rider. A ground clearance of 170 mm helps the rider a stunning off-ride like never before. The feather-light bike only weighs 139 kg.
The Duke 390 is also available in ABS option. It is expected tp be priced at Rs. 1.8 lakh in India.
