The success story of automatic scooters on the Indian roads have made Yamaha to take serious decisions on their scooter models. Yamaha Fascino is the latest offering from Japanese bike makers to compete with Honda Activa ruled scooter market.
Introduced in 2015, this 110cc scooter resembles Vespa LX 125 in design and styling from the front fascia. Unlike other Yamaha scooters, this one has a curvy and distinctive looks. In order to give a premium touch, the makers has decorated this scooter in chrome. The side profile of Fascino is pretty charming with fluidic creases and curves. Yamaha badging on the front gives a sporty appeal to the scooter.
Fascino is powered by an 113cc air-cooled single cylinder engine. Yamaha's 'blue core' engine produces 7bhp power @ 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 8.1Nm @ 5000rpm. Continuous Variable Transmission box is used to transmit the power to the wheels. Kerb weight of this scooter is 103kg. Yamaha claims a mileage of 66kmpl, which is far better from the alternatives.
This scooter is available in sassy cyan, rouge red, haute white, cool cobalt and tauxed black colour variants.
