First Impression Review

King when it comes to touring, the Ninja H2SX is a sports tourer version of the mighty H2. The H2SX is a road legal version supercharged motorcycle from Ninja series. The uncompromising power and aerodynamic body shape of the H2 SX will cover miles like no other. The H2SX will have two-person riding dynamics and will also have an enhanced and comfortable riding experience for the pillion rider also.

The magic of touring is done with a 998.00 cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four cylinder engine with Supercharger. The supercharged engine produces a maximum of 200 PS @ 11,000 rpm and a 137.3 Nm torque @ 9,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed dog-ring gearbox.

A high-performance Trellis frame made with high-tensile steel and powerful Swingarm Mounting Plate forms the entire frame structure. The rigid frame enhances the supercharged touring experience of the Ninja H2SX. Kawasaki has given 43 mm inverted fork as the front suspension for the H2SX. While the rear shocks come with New Uni-Trak, gas-charged shock absorber at the rear.

The suspension duties of the H2SX is the same as that of the track-oriented H2R. But Kawasaki has increased the weight of the H2SX and decreased the engine power to make it a very long distance touring weapon. The braking of this bike is done with Dual semi-floating 320 mm discs at the front while the rear brakes are done with single 250 mm disc. When compared with the track-oriented H2R, the H2SX has undergone serious engine refinement and changes to make it an ultimate touring weapon. The H2SX remains as the only motorcycle in the sports touring segment to get the supercharger.
