Honda CB Unicorn

The new CB Unicornis an update over the successful Unicorn bike by Honda. Honda has made many designs as well as mechanical changes to the Unicorn to make the vehicle as it is today. It has a chrome touchup with the long visor on the front cowl, and this adds to the premium look of the bike along with the black styling and premium paint jobs. A 3D Honda Wing Mark is placed on the fuel tank and this gives the bike a very royal and sophisticated look. The engine of the bike is very refined and this makes it easy to manoeuvre the bike easily while on traffic and on congested roads.



Engine

The CB Unicorn comes with a 149.2 cc powerful Air cooled, 4 strokes, SI engine that produces 12.73 bhp of power @ 8000 rpm and a healthy 12.80 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The torque of the bike is felt firstly at the rev range and this makes it easy to have long rides very easy. The bike will also perform well at steeps and highways with good power and control.



Chassis, Suspension & Braking

The CB Unicorn uses a Diamond type chassis. It has a Telescopic suspension at the front and a Spring Loaded Hydraulic Type (Monoshock) at the rear. The kerb weight of the bike is 145kg. Honda has given 240mm Disc brakes at the rear side and a 130 mm Drum brake at the front. The CB Unicorn comes at a very low weight of 145kg.

The CB Unicorn is a good commuter bike, and ensure good mileage and low maintenance with good pickup. The bike is very friendly and has a good laid-back riding position, this makes it ideal for some long rides on highways also.
