Having a laid-back riding position with more forward-set hand controls and footpegs, and a low 28.3-inch seat height, the bike ensures a relaxed riding ambience to the rider. By introducing this machine, Honda has once again proved its efficiency in bringing out premium bikes at affordable price ranges.
It's for the first time Honda launching motorcycles under the brand, CTX. The term CTX defines Comfort Technology Experience. Being true to the definition, the new CTX700N ensures both comfort and features in the same track. Impressively, the CTX700N is a crossover of cruiser and a naked bike. It provides the comfies of a fully-fledged highway cruiser and the structural design of a street stopping naked bike.
The CTX700N is mated with the same 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, PGM-FI with 36mm throttle body engine, which is used in the CTX700. The machine's engine is equipped with a 6 speed gearbox. The bike also provides a better and comfortable ride wedded with 41mm fork, 4.2 inches travel front suspension and Pro-Link single shock, 4.3 inches travel rear suspension. The major drawback of the CTX700N is it doesn't have dual front disc brake. But it's not bad to be equipped with a single 320mm disc brake with two-piston caliper at front and a single 240mm disc brake with single-piston caliper at rear, since Honda offers ABS in the top variant, the CTX700N DCT ABS. With ABS technology, the bike becomes the most controllable bi-wheeler in this segment. Moreover, the DCT (Dual Clutch transmission) allows the bike to be driven in the automatic mode.
