Honda launched CB 500F globally in the November 2012. This model was based on the Honda CB 500 of 1993. The CB 500F is a mid sized sportbike, which is Honda's one of the best selling motorcycles in the Europe. Honda upgraded the CB 500F in the year 2016 with LED tail and headlights. Moreover, the fuel tank capacity of the bike has been increased to 16.7 litres along with some minor cosmetic changes. It is comfortable and easy to ride bike with a less complicated design approach.
The bike is slotted in between the CB 500 twin siblings like CBR500R and CB500X. It features the same engine and chassis of these two models, which is considered as a modular strategy of the Honda to cut short the production cost. It is powered by 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine with computer controlled digital ignition and PGM-Fi. The engine is teamed with 6-speed gearbox and generates a maximum power of 46.3 bhp and peak torque of 43 Nm. Other additional features include ABS system, New Trim Exhaust, Pro-Link Rear Suspension, Cast Wheels and Digital Instrumentation.
