Back in the good old days, motorcycle enthusiast and custom bike builders alike used to customise their motorcycles to make it capable for their adventurous expeditions in the mountains and deserts. The customisation ranges from 500cc motorcycles and used suspension setup with more travel, rigid spoke wheels, engine protection plates and big block tyres to tackle the harshest environmental conditions.



The Scrambler Icon, born from the factories of Ducati, pays homage to the legendary Scramblers that represented the passion and vigour shown by the motorcycle enthusiasts of the past.

An 803cc L-Twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder, Air cooled engine and the engine produces a maximum power of 73 hp @ 8,250 rpm and a torque of 67 Nm torque @ 5,750 rpm. The engine makes use of Electronic fuel injection with 50 mm throttle body as its fuel system. The motorcycle complies to the latest Euro 4 emission standards.



A Tubular steel Trellis frame forms the backbone of this Scrambler. An Upside-down Kayaba fork with 41 mm travel is used in the front suspension setup while the rear suspension comes with Kayaba rear shock, pre-load and rebound adjustable. with an Aluminium made double-sided swingarm. To make any road or terrain impact within the limits of the motorcycle, Ducati has given Pirelli MT 60 RS as stock in this motorcycle. A braking system with 330 mm disc and a radial 4-piston calliper with ABS as standard equipment is found in the front and a 245 mm disc, 1-piston floating calliper with ABS as standard equipment at the rear.
