The iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi has been upgraded to Pulsar 220F with, Bharat Stage-IV complaint engine for the year 2016. It features the same 220cc DTS-i engine which is capable of delivering 21.05 PS power and 19.12 Nm of torque.
Apart from changing the timing chain, no other technical features are either changed or upgraded in the new 220F. Timing chain has been changed in order to give a quieter operation and smooth and linear power delivery. The bike gets some cosmetic changes like new stripes and decals of black and red with all new set of instrument cluster, matte-grey finish exhaust can and a clip on the handle bars again with a matte finish.

The suspension setup of the bike is done with Telescopic, with anti-friction bush at the front and a 5 way adjustable, Nitrox shock absorber at the rear. The braking of the bike is done with 260 mm Disc at the front and a 230 mm Disc at the rear. Tubeless tyres come at stock in this bike. The entire weight of the bike comes under 150 Kg.
