What is the difference between yamaha rx100 and 135

The RX 135 engine is 35cc bigger than the engine of the RX100 and develops 1bhp more than the RX 100. RX 135's sold after 1996'97 came with a catalytic converter to comply with emission norms which stifled it's performance while the RX100 never came with acatalytic converter.

Hi, the Yamaha RX-100 had 98 cc, Air cooled, 2-stroke, single cylinder, CDi engine with 11 hp @ 7500 rpm of power, had 4-speed gear box, had mileage of around 36 to 42 kmpl and top speed of 100 kmph.
Where as Yamaha RX-135 had two versions of this bike sold in India with 4-speed gear box and the 5-speed gear box. Apart from the difference in the transmission, the bikes differed in the carburetor type, sprockets, cylinder and head. The RX-135 has a slightly bigger cylinder and bigger cross-section for air intake.
Yamaha RX-135 had 132cc, Air Cooled, 2-stroke, Single Cylinder, CDi engine with power of 14 HP @ 7500 rpm. The bike had a 5- Speed gear box and had catalytic converter and had mileage of around 32 to 40 kmpl and top speed of 120+ kmph.
RX 135 (5 gears) - 14 BHP @ 7500 rpm
RX 135 (4 gears) - 12 BHP @ 6500rpm
RX 100 (4 gears) - 11 hp @ 7500 rpm.

There is a difference in sound also. Rx100 gives you the real 2stroke feel when you ride it, moreover the pickup is more in RX100. RX135 is a lot more smooth as compared to RX100, and the top speed is more in RX135. The older the engine the better it is, that's what i feel. RD350 is the Baap of all RX series.

Rx 100 avg. is approx 35-40 and having little bit bold sound, less weight, but it is rough and tough bike less problem in engine.
Rx 135 avg. is approx 40-45 and having different sound, heavier that rx 100, top speed is more, road ripping is more, comfortable. But it need maintainence.

I have rx100 and rx135 suddenly pickup means that is one and only rx100 no other cross it, and rx135 is not bad it also awesome byk and its long rider, my advice better go for rx100 ............

I am changed rx100 engine to rx135 engine in my japan model rx100 but 1 problem is that my rx not going constant its vibles, not go in mossam. Please tell me friends which part should can i change for that problems. I suggest change wiring form 6 volts to 12volts or change 6volt CDi coil to 12volt coil... please tell me friends
