Seven new models of Triumph reaching India by 2012

The British prime bike makers Triumph motorcycles is launching seven new models in India by 2012. Reports say that all the seven bikes will be showcased in the much awaited Delhi auto expo-2012. With the arrival of the British giants, Indian premium two-wheeler market is looking to reach new heights.

The reports say that 'over-a-century-old' brand had announced its India entry last June. The company mainly have four model families, and of the four, the first model to be launched will be the parallel-twin Bonneville, followed by the iconic naked sports bikes Speed Triple and Street Triple. The other attraction from the British bike manufacturers would be the off-roader Tiger 800XC, supersport bike Daytona 675, Triumph Storm and Rocket III.



The Triumph Motorcycles have devised a new strategy to become popular in the Indian market. The company will be having a well phased out strategy, The first part of the roll-out plan will be a CKD assembly facility which will enable the company to pass on duty savings to the customer.
