By January 2012, KTM will place its foot in the Indian market by means Delhi auto expo 2012. The Indian automobile giant 'Bajaj', who has got 38% share in the Austrian company KTM, will launch the KTM Duke 200 in January.
Following the Duke 200, Duke 350 will also take a look into the Indian market. 690 Duke, 990 Super Duke R and 990 SuperMoto R are the three most popular bikes from the KTM family. In the markets dominated by these three bikes, KTM has announced reduction in it's price.
Since Bajaj auto is marketing KTM here, this reduction in the cost may not be implemented in India. No news have been provided by the Bajaj officials about the price range of this superbike in India.
Both KTM Duke 200 and 350 which are set for Indian market, will be manufactured in the Bajaj's Chakan plant. KTM is making using use of these Bajaj plants to produce and export these models to countries like Brazil,Thailand and Malaysia.
