Lambretta Launched The 2017 V-Special in Italy

One of the iconic scooters of all time is back. The Lambretta has unveiled their 2017 V-Special scooter in Italy. It is so far the biggest move by this Italian company in this 21st-century. The V-Special was introduced in accordance with celebrating the 70th anniversary of Euro Rally in Italy. This legendary scooter showcases modern design structure by keeping all the vintage shades on it.



This scooter has been developed by the combined effort of KISKA designing house and the parent company itself. Lambretta introduces double layer side panel for the V-Special, which makes it one of the toughest scooters in its class with a full steel body.



A 1.2mm steel middle beam is the base and the sides are covered by panels that can be delivered in different shapes and colors. The new V-Special gets a slew of modern features like LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlight, tail lamp and winkers, 12V charger, integrated luggage box and glove box, large under seat storage and front disc brake. The V200 Special features advanced Bosch ABS system at the rear end.



2017 V-Special is available in 3 different engine formats. The V50 Special uses a 50cc 4T engine with electronic carburetors, while the V125 and V200 Special features 125cc and 169cc 4T engine with direct fuel injection respectively. Moreover, these engines meet the Euro-IV emission standards and ready to hit the markets very soon. As it is one of the renowned scooters of all time and by considering the huge fan followers in our country, it is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year. It is also the perfect replacement for Vespa range of scooters from the Italian powerhouse, Piaggio.
