Alas, it happened. Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta launched its much awaited middle-class sport machine, the F3 800. The bike tags a whooping price of €13,990 (~Rs. 10,50,000). Hopefully, the machine will minimize the distance from the mid-range Supersport to Superbike replica. Speculations had been smoking all the automobile blogs to make the readers to scroll up and down on the F3 800 for months. The launch of the machine is never a little console for millions of superbike fans, but something huge which can hardly be expressed by English alphabets.
The all new F3 800 comes with a 798cc, Three cylinder, 4 stroke, 12 valve engine, which is adequate to ensure dazing power of 148 hp at 13,000 r.p.m. and mesmerizing torque of 88 Nm at 10,600 r.p.m. Its engine is coupled with a Cassette style; six speed, constant mesh gear transmission, which enriches a smooth and a swift drive. As the bike is equipped with a massive engine, the engine gets heated in no time. So a better cooling system is a must. The Italian firm has installed Cooling with separated liquid and oil radiators cooling system to do the duty of cooling.
The machine is class leading. So it should give riders class leading experience n the form of comfort. Wedded with Marzocchi "UPSIDE DOWN" telescopic hydraulic front fork with rebound-compression damping and spring preload external and separate adjustment, and Progressive Sachs, single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment at rear, suspension becomes a comfortable receive to the riders.
Now you can make it to the best speed. As you have got everything moulded with the machine, why the hell you should get scared. Mingled with double floating disc with Ø 320 mm diameter, with steel braking disc and flange, and Brembo radial-type monobloc, with 4 pistons Ø 34 mm calipers at front, and single steel disc with Ø 220 mm, and Brembo with 2 pistons - Ø 34 mm calipers at rear pull out a wonderful experience to the rider without any acceleration to heart beats. Unfortunately, no ABS is provided.
The bike has a quiet lavish fuel tank of 16.5 liters and weighs 173 kg (dry weight).
