Honda to Unveil CB1100 in London Motorcycle Show

Mixing classicism and nakedness Honda moulds out a new culture of motorcyclism through the CB1100 without compromising performance and current generation motorcycles' features.

The world's most renowned motorcycle manufacturer, Honda Motor Company, Ltd. is well set to refresh the history. The hot news now spreading out that Honda will be revealing its 2013 CB1100 at the upcoming Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show, held at the ExCeL Centre, in London. The motorcycle show is charted to take place from February 15 to 17. Being the biggest bi-wheeler fest in UK, the event will be customized by the presence of all world class motorcycle manufacturers and their latest machines.



The 2013 Honda CB1100 is extremely defines what a cult machine is. Here Honda must be complimented for the design it keeping since the born of the CB1100's first generation bike, the legendary CB750K0. Even though the bike looks smaller by appearance, the CB1100 comes with a massive 1140cc air- and oil-cooled inline four-cylinder engine. The engine exploits maximum power of 88.5 horse power at 8,500 Rpm and a stunning torque of 92 Nm at 5000 Rpm. It compression ratio is 9.5:1. The engine has been wedded with a 5 speed gearbox. Mated with induction, PGM-FI with automatic enrichment circuit, 32mm throttle bodies and injection, Digital transistorized with electronic advance the machine becomes an economical friend as well.

Although it endures the timeless style, Honda has refreshed the bike with the most advanced technologies and components. This make the CB1100 a good rival to its competitors. A 41mm fork with spring preload adjustability suspension at front and dual shocks with spring preload adjustability suspension at rear ensures a leisure drive. In order to increase the driver's confidence, the front brake is moulded out of Dual four-piston calipers with full-floating 296mm discs and the rear portion with a Single-caliper 256mm disc brake. The bike rolls out using a 110/80-18 tyre at front and a 140/70-18 tyre at rear.

The CB1100 has a 14.76 liter fuel tank. It makes possible to travel 390 km in a single tank. That means the mileage of the bike is 22 kmpl. To certify less emission, the motorcycle meets the current EPA standards and the California version meets the current CARB standards. Honda CB1100 is priced at $9,999 (approximately Rs. 5,32,000) for the standard model. The bike is availabe only in candy red color.
