Yamaha to Launch Its Most Expensive Street Superbike FJR1300A in India?

Japanese motorcycle giant, Yamaha Motor Company Limited plans to launch consortium's most expensive sport-street motorcycle, the 2013 FJR1300A in India and thus predict rumours. The FJR1300A comes with a track full of key features including its upgraded features for the 2013 edition.

Yamaha ornaments it as the best supersport tourer in the world. The all new state-of-the-art innovations comprising D-mode (Drive-mode) for varying throttle mappings, cruise control to extent easiness and a comfy ride, traction control to maintain the traction, newly designed aerodynamic adjustable windshield, a two-position adjustable rider seat for a leisure long trip, flexible handle bar according to the accessibility of the rider and so on are the unlimited special features of the FJR1300A.



Treading through the technical specifications, the FJR1300A is displaced with a 1298cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder; DOHC, 16 valves engine. The motorcycle is powered by a peak torque of 138.3 @ 7,000 rpm. With a congested 5-speed, multiplate wet clutch transmission, the FJR1300A is limited to pull a top speed of 250 kmph.

However, India Yamaha Motor Private Limited (IYM), the whole subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Company Limited hasn't officially announced yet regarding the foray of the 2013 FJR1300A supersport tourer. VMAX, YZF R1 and FZ 1 are the superbikes which are currently available in the IYM showrooms in India.
