Rumours have been there always as a primary factor in any sector of business. And at present some interesting rumours predict that the South Korean premium motorcycle manufacturer, Hyosung Motors is to be bought by either Hero Motocorp or by Mahindra Two Wheelers. As any official reports hasnt revealed yet by both consortiums, moto-maniacs are in much trouble of patience and waiting for the much excited news.
Reports designate that the M&M Group and the Hero Group are in negotiation to buy the luxury brand Hyosung. Nevertheless, the acquisition only benefits the Indian motorcycle industry. It would be better if Hero gets in a deal with Hyosung, since Hero has more exposure in the country, it would enhance the sale of Hyosung. Moreover, Hero is the worlds largest two wheeler conglomerate concerning the units sold annually.
Parting from Honda, the automobile industry witnessed not only the miraculous survival of Hero Motocorp, but also the capability of it to spot its top position once again in the Indian two wheeler industry. As far as Mahindra Two Wheelers is concerned, it is only an emerging company and certainly needs few more time to deliver its real place along with its stronger competitors.
Notwithstanding, Hyosungs Indian distributor DSK Motowheels hasnt address media anything so far regarding Hyosungs take over and total assets. DSK Motowheels is an annex of Pune based real estate congleromate, DS Kulkarni Developers Limited.
