Bosch Vice President of Automotive Aftermarket, Mr. S. Muralidharan addressed that the company had opened 10 Express Bike Service (EBS) outlets in the city on the lines of sole outlet at Delhi. The company also plans elevate the numbers by 50 by the end of 2012. As the company dreams to fill the scarcity of hallmarked service outlets, each cities would be supplied of at least 10 ESBs, as Bosch targets to gradually reach a tally of 500 outlets.
The outlets will be accommodating not only service but also genuine spare parts, tyres, batteries and engines, which are built by Bosch itself. Mr. Muralidharan assumes that further increase in two wheeler industry will be stably continued till 5-10 years due to the high petrol price hikes. Hence exploding more outlets will result to find huge revenue for the venture. We can also expect 24X7 service stations in major cities owned by Bosch soon.
