45 % growth reported by HMSI in April sales

Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMSI), the Indian subsidiary of the global major Honda is continously reporting good sales report after every month.



The April sales report of the company saw the sales of the company had a 45% jump compared to the same period in last year. The company's product quality is one among the major reasons of this success.

The company sold 1,98,831 units, compared to 1,36,622 units in the same month of 2011. This is a really remarkable increase in its sales and as they are entering new segments, this sales percentage will surely go northwards.



According to the company, motorcycle sales moved up 32.37 percent to 81,427 units during the month, as against 61,514 units in April, 2011. It was also reported that the company reported an increase of 56.31 percent in scooter sales to 1,17,404 units from 75,108 units a year ago during the same month.
