The company sold 1,98,831 units, compared to 1,36,622 units in the same month of 2011. This is a really remarkable increase in its sales and as they are entering new segments, this sales percentage will surely go northwards.
According to the company, motorcycle sales moved up 32.37 percent to 81,427 units during the month, as against 61,514 units in April, 2011. It was also reported that the company reported an increase of 56.31 percent in scooter sales to 1,17,404 units from 75,108 units a year ago during the same month.
