Suzuki aims to be among top 5 bike manufacturers of India.

One among the many foreign companies who have tasted success in India, Suzuki Motorcycles, is all set to gear up their production to crash into the top 5 rankings. They reported good profit reports in the recent past which is aiding their hopes.



Suzuki considers the Indian two wheeler market as one full with lot of scope and opportunities and that is the reason behind their intend to invest more in India. It is this thought, which led them to open a new plant at Rohtak in Haryana.

During the first phase of manufacturing at Rohtak, around five lakh units would be produced. This phase would begin from 2014. The company would then expand this phase and would later produce close to almost 2 million vehicles.



Their upcoming 125 cc bike Hayate is expected to be a big threat for the existing super stars of Indian market. They have now got none other than Salman Khan as their brand ambassador to boost their sales.
