Yamaha FZ Series bikes re-launched after cosmetic facelift

Yamaha Motor India that launched FZ series motorcycles way back in 2008 were widely received by Indian bikers and were a huge hit amongst youngsters. The company has now launched new facelift upgrades of the popular FZ series namely the Yamaha FZ-S, FZ and Yamaha Fazer bikes. The new variants come in the price bracket of Rs 69,250 and Rs 76,380 (Ex-showroom Delhi), respectively.

So, what can you expect from the new Yamaha FZ variants? Don't get too much excited for Yamaha gave no functional upgrades but gave some cosmetic tweaks to the new variants such as:

-Vibrant, eye candy dual color schemes
-Bold and attractive graphics
-Longer and wider seat
-New stylish grab rails to add comfort to the pillion
-Chain protector to prevent clothes getting tangled in the chain
-Wider rear fender for added convenience and prevention of mud splash during monsoon rides.

New Yamaha FZ

Yamaha Motor India CEO & MD Hiroyuki Suzuki commented on the launch saying, "The launch of new variants in FZ series is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our bikes in this series."

That said, it should be seen if people will just pay more for cosmetic upgrades; wider seat may accommodate fat pillions but performance will be compromised considering the fact engine will be the same. Price of new FZ series: The new Yamaha FZ @ Rs 69,250, Yamaha FZ-S pegged at Rs 71,280 and Yamaha Fazer will cost Rs 76,380 (all Ex-showroom Delhi prices).
