Mahindra two wheelers reports a decline in the March sales

Mahindra company's two wheeler segment is facing a bit of dip in its sale in the March sales. The company who is been getting more and more active in the scooter segment is gradually in a process to make its product more familiar with the customers.

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) has stated that it has posted a marginal decline in its sales for March at 12,750 units. The company had sold 12,771 units in the corresponding period last year.



The company stated that while the year-on-year growth is flat, the company has great hopes in its new product Duro DZ, launched by MTWL, as its sales has grown dramatically.

It was mentioned that the company has recently launched 125 cc Duro DZ across India and its sales more than doubled in March 2012 compared to that of February. For this entire fiscal, the company's cumulative scooter sales stood at 1,34,570 units.
