Yamaha expecting to produce 10 lakh units per annum by 2014

Yamaha, the international brand, who has always been in fore front in bringing out two wheelers which always lives up to the dreams of Indian youth is spreading its sales to a bigger extent. They are looking forward to India as a huge market.

The company, this year, plans to head into a variety of two wheeler segments including scooters and premium bikes. The scooter industry is booming in India and hence it will be a smart move from Yamaha to enter this segment.



The company is coming up with huge investments in India as they are so confident that it will surely turn out to be a great success. Yamaha has a total Indian sales of 3.3 lakh unit in 2011. They are expecting to reach a figure of 10 lakh units per annum in 2014.

Yamaha is confident of their success as they have created such a good name in the Indian two wheeler market. With the entry into the scooter segment, they can surely meet their target.
