Yamaha to build its 250cc bike in India itself.

Yamaha, the company who always have the good intent and the vision to follow the right trends at the right time is all set to introduce its 250 cc motor bike this year itself, realizing the ongoing trend of premium bike segment in Indian two wheeler market .

But the most important and interesting factor about this product is that, they are producing this product here in India. There are many advantages for the customers if the product is produced in India itself instead of just assembling the product in their plant.



The management decided to produce the motorcycle locally, as the assembling will attract 30% import duty. Earlier Yamaha wanted to launch 250cc motorcycle last year. However, the management decided to see the response of Honda CBR250R before launching its 250cc motorcycle.

That means, Yamaha will be able to give the product a price tag, which is very much competitive and reasonable when compared to the products of the other companies working in the same segment. If the Yamaha product will keep the usual standards of Yamaha, with this price tag, the product will be a sure hit.
